What we aim for
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are the published standard for making websites usable by people with disabilities. This website aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. We don’t claim that every page fully meets it.
What this website does
- Each page has one main heading, and the headings under it follow in order.
- Each photo has a text description for screen readers.
- Links, menus, and the before-and-after photo sliders work from the keyboard. A skip link jumps past the menu, and a visible outline shows where you are on the page.
- Text and background colors are picked for level AA contrast.
- Body text is at least 18 pixels tall, and pages fit a 320-pixel-wide screen with no sideways scrolling.
How we check the pages
We run automated accessibility checks on the pages. Automated checks don’t catch everything, so we want to hear about anything they miss.
Motion and maps
Some photos and sections move as they scroll into view, and that motion runs on every device, including devices set to reduce motion.
The map in the footer comes from Google, so we can’t change how it works. The address and phone number beside it give you the same information as plain text.
Tell us about a problem
If you have trouble using any page, call (501) 550-8465 or email info@501softwashing.com. Tell us which page and what went wrong, and we’ll fix it.
